The rectangular box is adorned with two tiny dancers, adding a touch of elegance to your dresser or vanity. The vintage/Antique box includes an original small skeleton key that still works, ensuring that your treasured items are kept safe and secure. The wood jewelry box is made of high-quality wood and comes with a mirror, that is ghosting showing you it's age & patina. Measuring 9 inches in length, and 5.25 inches in both depth and width, this jewelry box is the perfect size for holding all of your favorite treasures. It does have a few flaws but is nearly perfect otherwise the back right corner seems to have 2 chips in the veneer. Also, I believe the spot on the lower right silk pillow has a drop of the original glue. I have not tried to clean it. I do not know if this is inlaid or a stencil. The bottom has an old yellowed label & as you can see in my pictures it says? Veuve Joysuse Lador & shows a picture of what appears to be a mountain range? I just don't know but looks like it might be. Part of the label is missing. The music box actually works. The ballerina is in costume & the man is in a tux & tails. They go up & down only. I know the song, I think it is a waltz but I do not know its American name. With the lid closed it is a sweet little song but louder when the box is fully opened.
