Please see video of the actual music box portion playing. The music box is the original music box from inside this figurine.It was reassembled after inspection and video recording. The wood box has aging and use wear & tear chip marks. According to the owner it had maintenance done in 1975 by a professional music box repairman & watch jeweler.
He was the one that chipped the paint next to the screw that holds the music box against the wood. When doing maintenance on it, remember that it is hard to put back together at that point. The "ON" switch has to be carefully pulled and held for a note or two and then it automatically shuts off.
Then pulled again to be played again. It doesn't play out a whole winding. In later models of this same design figurine they moved the ON switch to a different location.Please watch the video to see the ON switch in action!
