Elegant French Porcelain Black and White Musical Instrument Motif Trinket Box. Presented is a charming little vintage French porcelain box, dating to around the 1920s-1950s.

The box is white porcelain, with raised white enamel and black under-glaze decoration. The lid features a design of musical instruments and sheet music, in a detailed style, while the sides have floral decoration. The box has gilt brass hinges and fittings, with a ribbon design to the thumbpiece. The underside of the box has an old paper label reading'Made in France, as well as an underglaze mark in blue that looks like 87. The box is in great condition.
