Janis Joplin Ceramic Dream Car Porsche 356 Music Box by Vandor #1991 PROTOTYPE! Other than a few minor chips, this hard to find, handmade, Janis Joplin collectible is in excellent condition in our opinion. We believe this is a prototype since it is not numbered. The original number produced and numbered was 4800 in 2000. This Janis Joplin music box is modeled after Janis's 1965 Porsche 356c Cabriolet which was custom painted with psychedelic colors and images.

It was inspired by Janis's custom dream car and was limited to only 4800. This unique music box is contained under the removable roof and plays "Mercedes Benz"-a truly collectible work of art. NOTE: This is the larger version Car measuring approximately 12 inches long by 6 inches wide by 5 inches high (the mini version of this car by Vandor measures only 8 inches by 4 inches by 4 inches).
