I did not know that these even existed. I have had the Chein Melody Players.
They take rolls of paper that have holes in them that play the songs. Each one of these rolls is marked with the song's name. The songs are: Yankee Doodle, Dixie, My Old Kentucky Home, Silver Threads Among the Gold, Auld Lang Syne, Silent Night, Merry Widow Waltz, Down by the Old Mill Stream, The Road to Mandalay, When You and I Were Young Maggie (substituted for this roll is Star Spangled Banner), Sweet Adeline, and Listen to the Mocking Bird. It is 10-1/2" wide x 6-1/2" deep x 1-3/8 tall. The rolls are 5 long. The Disney Player is pictured on the box. I do not have the player to test the rolls. However, most of these do not look like they have ever been unrolled. These music player rolls are from the 1930s.As I mentioned above, one of the rolls listed was replaced with a different roll. As you can see in picture #12, there is some surface rust on the ends of the rolls. The box bottom is intact along with the insert.
Two corners of the lid are torn through. I have the inside tab that was removed from one corner. This will come with this box. They help with the description.
